This weekend I showed my Disney Side by throwing my youngest boys a Mickey Mouse and friends birthday celebration. A few of my 4 yr. old’s friends joined us for some Disney fun. Everyone had a blast. We played some games, everyone went home with a gift. We had some delicious food and shared some laughs. All and all it was a success. I also want to share some ideas about having celebrations for special needs children.<\/p>\n

1.) Have toys available to play with<\/p>\n

2.) Make sure there is a quite area(just in case the noise level becomes a bit much)<\/p>\n

3.) Try not to open gifts in front of guest( Helps to cut out meltdowns in guest)<\/p>\n
